The Formica® Laminate collection provides a solution for most applications, including doors, contract furniture and wall paneling. Black 909 grade 10 laminate is available in a variety of finishes.

Horizontal general purpose grade 10/HGS is intended for application to interior horizontal or vertical surfaces where design, appearance, quality, durability, resistance to stain, and resistance to heat from ordinary sources are important considerations.

The Matte finish imparts a warm, pleasing effect that enhances the beauty of color and produces a greater clarity and depth. Gloss finish is ideal for applications requiring maximum smoothness and reflectance. MicroDot is a low-sheen finish with subtle, concave circles arranged in a tight grid formation.

Note that Sculpted finish, in which horizontal lines meander across the laminate sheet in a slightly undulating fashion, is recommended for light-duty horizontal and vertical interior applications. Sculpted is not recommended for countertops.
