This tongue-and-groove OSB (oriented strand board) sub-flooring comes from LP's location in Maniwaki, Quebec, Canada. LP TopNotch 350 Series sub-flooring is designed for optimum moisture resistance.
Rectangular wood strands blended with thermal-set, waterproof adhesives are arranged in cross-directional layers and bonded together under extreme pressure. Notches cut into the panels contribute to RainChannel technology.
Moisture-resistant edge sealant is applied to all LP TopNotch products.
The RainChannel self-draining notch system - utilized in every LP TopNotch solution - allows water to drain quickly from the surface. Combined with a moisture-resistant edge seal, the RainChannel system helps fight moisture absorption and edge swell, reducing the need for sanding.
Allow panels to acclimate to the surrounding atmospheric moisture conditions, ensuring the panels are as dimensionally stable as possible before installation and before applying finished floor products. In the event panels become saturated after installation, allow them to dry before reconditioning the surface-sanding swollen ends/edges-before installing finished floor.
