AraucoPly sanded panels are laid up on a composed core using exterior PF resin and 100% plantation grown Radiata Pine. Faces are peeled from pruned logs which yield a much higher quality veneer.
AraucoPly AnAn sanded panels are finished with a 150-grit sanding on the face and 150-grit on the back.
All grade-stamped AraucoPly Sanded Panels are manufactured in accordance with the US PS1-09 product standard, and all ACX products are PS1-09 underlayment compliant and are edge stamped as such by TECO.
Araucoply is Radiata Pine plywood manufactured with phenolic resin in accordance with international product standards. It’s ideal for interior and exterior applications such as furniture, decorative paneling, industrial projects and construction. Synthetic repairs and boat type wood patches not permitted; Discoloration attributable to lumber is allowed: Loose and tight knots up to 10mm wide are allowed, only if they are repaired with wood based putty: Unrepaired cracks and splits are allowed up to 1mm wide if the length does not exceed 100mm. Wood based putty repairs are allowed with a maximum width of 1mm and unrestricted length; 2mm if the length is less than 300mm; and one repaired crack 2mm wide if the length is less than 500mm: Gum streaks are allowed if they are sound and light colored.
