This southern yellow pine (SYP) plywood Rated Sheathing is rated for use as subfloor, wall, roof, diaphragm and shear wall sheathing. It is suitable for use in residential and light commercial construction applications where strength and stiffness are required.
Plywood sheathing can be cut, drilled, routed, glued, fastened & finished with standard tools.
Nails can be placed near panel edges without splitting the panel. Panels can be attached to steel or aluminum with mechanical fasteners using self-drilling, self-tapping screws or hardened helically treated nails.
Exposure 1- Plywood suitable for uses not permanently exposed to weather. Panels are intended to resist the effects of moisture on structural performance as may occur due to construction delays or other similar conditions.
