R-Tite is the economical one step solution to insulate and seal the gap between sill plates and foundation walls. R-Tite can also be used around windows and doors or other areas that need gaps filled to prevent air infiltration.

Up to 40% of a home's heating or cooling can be lost due to air infiltration. R-Tite seals the gaps between the sill plate and foundation walls where heating/cooling loss or gain occurs.

Installation is easy: just unroll R-Tite sill plate gasket on top of the foundation wall flush to the face, or staple to the sill plate or bottom of tilt-up wall sections. For larger gaps, layer the thickness for an air-tight seal.

Because of its better insulation qualities, R-Tite is also ideal for use between wood framing and windows and doors. Use it as a gasket in joining sections of wood-framed manufactured buildings. It can also be used to form flexible expansion joints in sidewalks, patios and driveways.

Note that polyethylene foam, like many construction materials, is combustible and should not be exposed to flame or other ignition sources.
