They can be used on all exterior walls or as a decorative accent with any substrate.

Note that these Shakes have a redesigned wider groove. The new groove width dimensions are nominal 1/8" (bottom of groove) and 1/4" (top of groove).

The new wider, defined groove provides improved aesthetics and quality of paint coverage in the groove. However, Shakes with the wider groove should not be mixed with existing shake on the same elevation.
