P-ILSP

The In-Line Stair Post is an underount post to attach top rail between the top and bottom of stairs. This 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" post includes (2) bottom universal angle brackets and screws to connect rail brackets to mounting plates.

Note that fasteners to attach mounting plate to post are sold separately (requires 4 X WSC-50).

This post accomodates a 36" high Regal Stair railing hand rail which is a building code requirement.

Note that for stairs, the final rail height is 36" and the stair post is used at the bottom of the stair for 36’’ stair rail installation or to accommodate a 42’’ high railing custom angle applications. The in-line stair post undermounts to the bottom of the top rail and to the stair tread creating a continuous handrail on the stairs.
