Meranti plywood (often referred to as Philippine mahogany or Lauan plywood) comes from Southeast Asia and is known for its versatile utility.
It is typically easy to work with, has medium to low density and a coarse texture, and the grain is wavy and interlocked.
Some dead knots will exist in the DBB grade face of this plywood, with larger patches in the DCC grade back.
Use this plywood in interior applications where appearance is of lesser importance.
